Theology from a Three-Year-Old

A conversation with my little sister:

Me: "Hey Clarity? What is the gospel?"

Clarity: "Je'dus died on the cross by da' sinners, for our sins, so dat' we won't die."

Now, how profound is that? The total gospel right there, you don't even need to add onto that!
Sometimes we don't renew our minds with the gospel, but that's it, right there! The pure gospel from a three-year-old! If you think about it, it's really amazing how Christ loved us.

'Jesus died on the cross for our sins' was the best thing that ever happen on this earth, but many times we tend to use it as a cliché! Is that was Christ deserves? Obviously not. We need to renew the gospel in our minds, and try to comprehend how deep that really is.

The Gospel is just that simple, that even a three year old can understand it. But most adults choose not to, because they want to make it complicated (mainly because they don't want to accept it). And, they make “logical” presumptions that in turn makes them come to the conclusion that the Gospel just doesn’t make sense. I think one reason why so many people today do not want to accept the Gospel because they do not want to accept the fact that he or she is a depraved sinner.
Amazing. And for a three year-old! ....why can't we all just have "the faith of a child"?

That is so true. That is something that not only non-Christians, but christians need to grasp. It is important not only to show that our relationship with Jesus Christ does not lean on our good works, but also how easy it really is to explain the pure, true gospel. Good post!

PS. The pictures below are nice too.

If only more Christians put it so clearly. Everything doesn't have to be so complicated.

By the way, I tagged you at my blog. Check it out! (I hope you don't mind that I'm tagging you even though you've already been tagged by someone)

Clarity. What a fitting name for someone who can tell the gospel so clearly.

Hey! Not sure if you remeber me from a couple months ago. I kinda disappeared from the blogosphere for a while...just got WAY too busy. Anyway, I like your blog. Clarity: Way to go. That is the best way to say it. Isn't it so inspiring and make you so proud when your little siblings can give you such a good answer to such an important question? :)Oh ya, the coloring on the wall thing... sounds just like something me and my six siblings would all do together! God Bless!
