ONE COOL THOUGHT

Man, I was just reading Kendra's blog, and I came across this cool thought:

Do you ever wonder sometimes why girls cradle little babies in their arms when they're young? Have you ever wondered why that annoying little boy down the street keeps aiming his little cap-gun at you and lettin' go?

That's the way God made us.

That sums up the roles of men and women.

Women were made to be good mothers and wives, and men were made to be protecters of their family.

Just think about God's design in that for a while, and next time that annoying little brat down the street starts shooting at you, just appreaciate God making him that way!

Give me your thought on this.

p.s. this is a 'stall post' for Nick. He's going to post soon.

Busy!

Hey all! Sorry I haven't posted recently - I've been absolutely crazy busy. Not that it makes my lack of posting any better, but I'm trying to juggle (and not doing very well) school, my job at chick-fil-a, and some programming work I signed a contract on. Also, today we're having some friends from Arizona fly in and I will be spending my free time (what is that anymore?) with them.

I'm definitely going to post. But right now, I have so many things that this blog is going to have to be on the back burner for a week or two more. As soon as I have the time I will post again.

God bless you all! Thanks for reading our blog.

Luke

Something 4 the 4th

I'm going to post this up for the 4th because I really enjoyed reading this. It goes out to every man who fought to give us our freedom. This is the Soldier's Creed:

I am an American Soldier.
I am a Warrior and a member of a team.
I serve the people of the United States, and live the Army Values.
I will always place the mission first.
I will never accept defeat.
I will never quit.
I will never leave a fallen comrade.
I am disciplined, physically and mentally tough, trained and proficient in my warrior tasks and drills.
I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself.
I am an expert and I am a professional.
I stand ready to deploy, engage, and destroy, the enemies of the United States of America in close combat.
I am a guardian of freedom and the American way of life.
I am an American Soldier.

And, in testimony of our desire, and assurance to be heard, we say, Amen.
