Election Day!

I love elections! Maybe that's partly because I want to do politics as a side job. But I just wanted to get on and encourage you to be praying for the elections today. Remember God's choice is the winner!

All For His Son's Glory!

"Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that have been instituted by God." Romans 13:1 (read also 2-7)

Yes! Election day...
I am nervous about it, but I have to remember that it is all in God's hands. I have been fasting and praying today. To God be the Glory!

Go McCain!!!

Go McCain!!

Holly November 4, 2008 at 2:15 PM

I am not exactly cheering for McCain, but I am cheering for "NO OBAMA!!"....if that makes sense.
If I could vote, I would vote for McCain- not in support of him, but as a vote saying "NO" to Obama.

I pray God's will be done.

I pray God's will be done, and that everyone who votes will vote for that person because they believe he would be a good president, not because they are Democrat or Republican.

Kade November 4, 2008 at 5:42 PM

God's will...will be done. But we can't do nothing about anything! God can use your vote.

Someone once asked, "why pray if you believe that god has already planned everything?" The answer is God will might be using you to do his will! God might be using your prayers! God will use your vote to accomplish his will!

Just to let you know,
I was joking when I was talking about moving! Just a figure of speech!

Nicole November 5, 2008 at 7:16 AM

Nikki:
My little brothers will move with you! :) Their most frequently asked question during the election was "Where are we going to move if Obama gets elected?" (of course jokingly)

But, we are not going anywhere. We just have to remember that everything is in God's hands and He knows better than we do.
To God be the Glory!!

Once my little sister heard Obama won, she told my older brother to go on Ebay and find a dessert island.

I would like to find a "dessert" island also, but prefer a "desert" island.

I was really disappointed when I learned Obama won the election, but Dad was reading some verses about how God chooses the rulers and that we must respect them. So I need to just pray for him, because it would please God.

Brooke November 9, 2008 at 5:56 PM

Praise the Lord that even though Obama will be our next president we know who ultimately is in control! We can take comfort in that.

Blessings,
Brooke.

Holly November 11, 2008 at 1:28 PM

Thank-you, Kole. I'll be praying for you too. Sorry you're not feeling good.

It was funny reading these comments, I had no idea that our family wasn't the only one joking about moving the whole time :)
