Experiences

I am going through a study and I will (try) to post about it at least once a week.

When we do something in life over and over again, we tend to use or own experience at it, right? SO when someone who is new to it needs advice, he goes to you or someone else who knows more about it than he does. Well, when we sin, and we try to stop, we tend to use our own expriences than asking for God's help! And that is impossible. We can't do anything without Him. We must NOT let our own experiences be our guide, or we will end up in a big mess. If we lean on our own experiences for our life, we are walking on some thin ice. But if we look to the Bible for answers, and pray for God's will to be done, we can never go wrong. Now, you can go wrong if you are looking for answers to a wrong question. I you are trying to seek out how to make a lot of money in a short time, you won't find the right answer! I like how Henry Blackaby and Claude King (the men who wrote the study I am going through) put it. They saud that we can't ask, "What is God's will for my life," but rather, "What is God's will?" We must find God's will first, and then conform our life into that.

Catechism

And, in testimony of our desire, and assurance to be heard, we say, Amen.
